Curly Standard Place – is the place to visit for sound, sensible, quality Curly horses.
Our farm is located in the sunny South Okanagan in British Columbia, Canada – we are in a
semi desert which makes our location a pretty wonderful place to raise horses as well as
something of a holiday Mecca, so come on up and visit us! We have sold and shipped horses
all over the US and Canada, with our latest export going overseas to France.

Breeding Goals

Our breeding goals are pretty
basic, to produce excellent quality Curly horses that will excel in the sport horse disciplines yet are
sensible and wonderful enough to be an excellent family horse and trail companion
too. We use some outcrossing with some Curly to Curly breeding as a
way to attain this, while being mindful to maintain the basics of what makes a
Curly horse special – great bone, sensible dispositions, easy to train & maintain horses with the
most special thing of all – they must be hypoallergenic.

| To attain this goal we needed a
really excellent horse to be our senior Stallion and this goal has
been realized in *Sandman's Magic. *Sandman is our gorgeous, sooty
dun Extreme Curly Stallion. He is shown in breed demos and has begun
his show career under saddle in dressage. We breed for conformation,
movement, overall quality and of course curls, so we are happy to
report that we have seen only Curly foals from our stallion – he is
suspected to be homozygous for curls.

Our reason for breeding these
amazing horses began with an allergic child – my daughter
is HIGHLY allergic to regular
horses and we went without horses for many years because of this. Finding Curly horses was something
of a miracle for our family and we are grateful every day for
these incredible horses.
We offer hypoallergenic Curly horses of all ages and stages
of training for sale – please visit us in person or our home online –
and check back often as our site is updated very regularly.
