Livingstone Highland Curlies is owned and operated by Darlene and Mitch Livingstone.  We are currently located in the rugged terrain of the San Antonio Valley between the towns of Livermore and San Jose, CA.

We are in our fifth year of owning and raising curly coated horses.  Our herd consists of both domestically raised and mustang curlies that we adopted through the BLM program.

The poster boy for our operation is our number one stallion BNC Thumper ABC P-1784(F).  He is a beautiful 15.2 hand golden palomino.  We bred him to our two equally beautiful 15.2 hand palomino mares this year and are hoping for palomino or cremello foals in 2003. Thumper did produce a palomino colt for us this year that looks very much like dad with just a little bit more chrome.

The goals for the future of our ranch are simple ones. We hope to breed four to eight outstanding foals a year and to be able to find them loving homes.  So far we feel that we are on the right track and are happy with what we have produced.  We are very excited about the possible foals we will have next year and in the years to come.
